This is a guide for the development installation of the presentation ADP - The NaviServer Web Anti-Framework
given
at the EuroTcl 2026 conference together with the used minimalist (anti) framework, the µEDF web application and
Naviserver.
The instructions work for Debian GNU/Linux without Naviserver installation. They use the/opt directory
to store the Naviserver source code and /srv for the sources, which are then served by
Naviserver. The presentation will be served at http://adp:8080 on localhost.
The installation uses defaults wherever possible. If you need different settings or have a different operating system adapt to your needs.
root access is only needed for installation. The software is installed with the rights of the
current user and is intended to run as this user. Deployment to a production system is out of scope of this
guide.
